DN50 SV-HT50-05 Gas Seismic Valve<\/h4>\n

S-TECH seismic valves are devices designed to automatically shut off the gas flow in earthquake situations under the conditions defined in the technical standard ASCE25-16, according to PED, ATEX directives and technical standards ANSI Z21. 21-2005, CSA 6.5-2005, CR90 – 002.\u00a0 \u00a0It is a completely mechanical device which therefore does not require any electrical power supply.<\/p>\n

When the device is subject to seismic vibrations as defined in the technical standards, the SV valve automatically cut-off the gas flow. After the automatic closure, the valve can be reset manually, and it remains closed unti l it is reset allowing the flow of gas.<\/p>\n

\"\"This mechanical earthquake valve perceives seismic movements [earthquake). Then it automatically shuts off the flow of gas at the places using gas at the end of perceived movements. Afterwards, it can be manually set up. Otherwise, it stays in the turn-off position, until it is set up back in the turn-on position.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0device automatically turns off at the moment of occurrence of the seismic activity having momentum\u00a0and frequency values at\u00a0the size depending on the related standards, as a result of perception of this\u00a0activity by the device, and in a manner not causing leakage of flow of gas with help of gas shut-off\u00a0equipment. Whether or not seismic\u00a0activity continues or not, it remains turn-off until the flow of gas is\u00a0set up again. It is possible to give gas to the installation again after\u00a0device perceived seismic activities\u00a0and shuts off gas, and the setup knob [reset) is manually pulled . After said shut-off, the manual setup\u00a0proceeding must be definitely made by authorized gas distribution company or by firms authorized by\u00a0them.<\/p>\n
