AQUA 5000 Water Lime Dissolver – For up to 50 m³/h

Lime depostis in pipes and on heating elements in dish washers, washing machines, water heaters and boilers lead to premature ageing of the appliances. Reduced output , increased energy consumption and unnecessary repairs are other consequences. Due to less pressure in the pipes the washers in the taps will need replacing more often.

Aqua Decalcifier will prevent the lime depostis 

When using the AQUA , the lime remains suspended in the water and runs out through the drain instead of creating depostis. The method is both effective and environmentally appropriate – no chemical additives are used and the taste and the quantity of the water are not affected. Also, the quantity of detergents can be reduced by approximately 25 % due to lower surface tension of the water.

Function.

The Decalcifier dissolves the lime that passes through the pipe. The lime then losses its capability to create deposits on the pipe walls. After 48 hours it will return into the original status. The water surface tension will change when the lime dissolves. It is thus important to reduce the dose of detergents by approx. 25 % or to use tablet dosage. The carbon dioxide created when the lime dissolves removes old deposits in the pipe. The strains in shower and wash-basin taps should therefore be cleaned 2-3 times during the first year.

• The Decalcifier will continuously run a self-test to check the function of the unit. If an error occurs the LED’s will flash. In case of malfunction, contact your Aqua supplier.
• Aqua Lime Dissolver is CE certified and approved in accordance with EN 60950-1, protection class IP 33.

Installation.

Trebema Decalcifier Aqua 5000 is to be mounted where the water comes into the house – before branching off, but after filter and pressure tanks if any. It can be mounted on pipes of copper, stainless steel, polyethene, PEM or galvanized material. Any painting or insulation must be removed from the pipes.. The unit can not be used on metal reinforced flexible rubber pipes.

1. Wind the 2 pieces of white PVC-foil slightly more than one turn around the pipe with a distance of 120 mm (use the template on the back).
2. Wind then the ALU-foil slightly more than one turn over each PVC-foil.
3. Mount the attached electrode clamps around the pipe, centered on the ALU-foil. Be careful not to damage the foil.
4. If there is a risk of condensation, the pipe must be insulated after the mounting in order to secure the maximum efficiency.
5. The wall unit is to be mounted max. 1 m from the pipe.

Use the template and mark the holes for screws and plugs Fit the unit at the wall and connect the enclosed cable between the unit and the electrode clamp pin. Connect the net adapter to the unit and to a 230 V wall socket. The decalcifier will now make an internal check. After approx. 60 seconds your decalcifier is in operation.

AQUA is diifferent from a water softener device , because a water softener just changes the hard water to soft one.

AQUA also disolves the existing lime depostits in the pipes within 6 – 12 months, depending on the hardness of water as well as on the thickness of the lime deposits.
