DIDO-A Self-Cleaning Water Filter (3/4″ – 2″)

Removes gravel, sand, rust, flakes of metals, mucilage and other foreign particles from water.

In addition to being harmful to health, these foreign particles can also damage system parts and cause corrosion in metal parts (tubes, fittings, devices) of the water line. The more sophisticated the device is, the higher the amount of preventive filtering is recommended . Specifically, it is indispensable for condensing boilers or reverse osmosis (RO) systems used for water treatment.

How it works:

The water entering the filter follows an obligatory path that leads it to cross the mesh on the filtering element, consisting of a stainless steel AISI 304 net, flowing from the outside toward the inside. In this way, the particles with dimensions greater than the filtration degree of the mesh will stop, will accumulate on the bottom of the filter or they will remain blocked on the external surface of the filtering element.  All the particles previously stopped will then be eliminated by opening the bowl and cleaning the cartridge under the tap.

Customized Micrometric Filtering: 

Standard degree of filtration of 89 μm. Though there is the possibility to choose  50, 200 or 500-micron filter cartridge depending on your water requirements.

Cleaning & Cartridge Replacement:

The filter mesh should be replaced once a year and must be cleaned periodically, in order to ensure effective operation.

The water entering the filter follows a designated path that forces it to pass through the mesh of the filtering element, which is made of AISI 304 stainless steel mesh, flowing from the outside to the inside.

All previously trapped particles are eliminated through the drain using an automatic system managed by a programmable digital timer. Opening the drain activates the cartridge’s impeller, which, through its calibrated water jets, allows for internal-to-external cleaning of the filter element.

To ensure the filter’s efficiency, the cartridge must be replaced at least once a year.
