Hercules Pro Dope 8oz (237mL) is an oil-based thread sealant with a uniform, smooth consistency that ensures easy application. 

• Designed for use with metal threaded pipe (not for use in oxygen & petroleum gases pipe lines)
• Prevents rust and corrosion
• Wipes clean from hands
• Oil-based thread sealant with a uniform, smooth consistency for easy application
• Use in pipe systems carrying water, natural gas, air, steam, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and alkalis
• Will not leak or drip out of the container
• Resists hardening and cracking
• Do not use for LP gas & Oxygen lines  or  on plastic pipe
• For oxygen installations you should use the specially designed Teflon Tape Oxygen TF5-25.
• Complies with the requirements of ANSI/NSF61 & TT-S-1732.

Operating Pressure:  withstands : hydraulic pressure up to 17 bar  ♦  air and steam pressure up to 14 bar

Operating Temperature Range: from -17 °C to  +177 °C

Max. Application Temperature: 50 °C
