Description

DOC12 Damtite – Dry On Clear 12% solids . Water-base, siloxane water repellents for mainly vertical applications. Provides a clear penetrating shield over most masonry surfaces. Alkali/mildew resistant, dries clear with no surface discoloration. Formulated for light to medium industrial applications. Solid contents include 12% by weight, respectively.

USES: Provides a clear and protective water-repellent shield over a variety of interior or exterior surfaces, such as: Brick, Stucco,Cast Stone, Reconstructed Stone, Canvas, Natural Stone, Exposed Quartz Aggregate, Wood, Exterior Masonry Paint, Asbestos Shingle.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be clean and dry. Remove all oil, grease, dust, dirt, etc. Any cracks or loose joints should be repaired before applying Dry On Clear.

How to apply: It is recommended DOC12 be applied with a low pressure garden sprayer. Other means of application are brush, roller, or painter pad (on smooth surfaces). Apply generously to the surface, allowing material to run down the surface (about 6” maximum). Overlap previously applied area to insure complete coverage. Make sure all pores and cavities are thoroughly saturated. One coat of DOC12 is sufficient. It will begin to repel itself if over applied. Clean tools immediately after use with paint thinner or mineral spirits.

COVERAGE: One gallon will cover approximately 100 – 125 sq. ft. [8 – 13 m² ] depending on the type and porosity of the surface.

LIMITATIONS: Do not use on wet surface. Surface must be clean and dry before application. Do not apply to frozen or frost covered surfaces. It is not recommended to use this material before freezing (32%F or 0%C) or when temperatures are expected to be below freezing within four hours of application.
