TEC VENT STUDOR Fire_Resistant Air Admittance Valve for plumbing ventilation (DN40 / 1-1/2″)

The Studor Tec-Vent is an Air Admittance Valve (AAV) designed specifically for commercial applications and industries where flame-retardance is a priority, but is also suitable for residential use. It is manufactured from flame-retardant polycarbonate with a high  tensile strength, providing savings by reducing the need for expensive flame-retardant vent piping.

Technical Features

• Prevents the release of foul air from the drainage system.
• High tensile strength remains at low and high temperatures.
• UV stabilised – may be exposed to direct sunlight.
• High temperature rating against exothermic reaction in acid waste system.
• Screening on the inside and outside of the Tec-Vent to protect the sealing membrane from foreign objects.
• Ability to divert condensation away from the sealing membrane
• Air flow capacity: 5,9 L/sec
• Working temperature range : from -20^oC  to +60^oC
