MEGALOC Multi-Purpose Thread Sealant for plastic and metal pipes

Description

Hercules® Megaloc® is a multi-purpose thread sealant made with DuPont™ Kevlar® for use on metals, including steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and plastic.

• Seals plastic and metal pipes and fittings
• Odorless formula is non-separating, non-flammable, non-hazardous
• Sets soft with no cure time required
• Safe for drinking water lines
• In-lid applicator
• Wipes clean from hands and tools and washes out of clothes
• Resists hardening and cracks
• Not recommended for lines carrying concentrated acids, alkali, ketone and oxygen

• Certified for use in potable water lines ANSI -NSF61 according to the requirements of  CSA 4-90 & TT-S-1732 standards.

Operating Pressure:  Hydraulic resistant to 12,000 psi  (845bar)   Withstands gas pressure to 2,600 psi (183bar)

Operating Temperature: from -46 °C to 204 °C

Max. Application Temperature: 50 °C
